In the neighbourhoods of Eleusis, until the mid-nineties, on the eve of the Nativity of John the Baptist, both children and adults were experiencing the custom of Klidonas by jumping over large fires in which the May Day wreaths were burnt.

On Saturday, 23th June 2018, at 20:00 we revive the custom in two different neighbourhoods of Upper and Lower Eleusis, for children and adults, residents, friends and visitors of the city, making a wish for good health and cast off evil.

With the collaboration of Thanasis Kriekoukis, the Scouts Associations of Eleusis, Litsa Tsalimopoulou-President of Adrachti Cultural Association of Eleusis and Michail Archaggelos Symiaka Eleusis Association.

Address: Junction of Dardanellion & Trapezountos Streets and Junction of Karaiskaki & Perikleous Streets in Eleusis.
